Leanne Lehmann

Leanne attended the University of Washington in Seattle for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a B.S. in Neuroscience. During that time, she worked as a technician in Dr. Dirk Keene’s neuropathology lab. Post-bacc, Leanne studied neuronal hyperexcitability in the aging and degenerating brain in Dr. Melissa Barker-Haliski’s neuropharmacology lab. She joined UCSD’s Neuroscience Graduate Program in 2023, and is excited to start her thesis work in the Chen lab. In her free time, you can find her either at the beach or hiking.
